Innovation-Driven, Leading the Future: The 3rd Member Conference of the 2nd Term & Spring Banquet of Guangdong Shoe-making Machinery Association Successfully Held
On February 26, 2025, the Third Session of the Second Members' General Meeting and Spring Banquet of Guangdong Shoe-making Machinery Association was grandly held at Dongguan Houjie International Hotel. Centered around the theme "Innovation-driven Development, Leading the Future", the event comprised three main segments - the general assembly, industry forum, and spring banquet. It attracted over 400 participants including leading enterprises in shoe machinery manufacturing, footwear industry elites, experts, scholars, and government officials, who collectively explored development trends and strategized for the future of the footwear equipment sector.
Part I: Third Session of the Second Members' General Meeting
At 14:30, the conference solemnly commenced with the national anthem. Distinguished attendees included Chen Jiongsheng, Director of the Supervision Department at Guangdong Provincial Social Organization Administration; Zhan Ming, President of Guangdong Shoe-making Machinery Association; Yang Guang, Executive President; and other prominent guests.

In his address, President Zhan Ming expressed full affirmation of the Association's work over the past year and highly commended member companies' contributions to organizational development and exhibition initiatives. He specifically highlighted that despite severe challenges including scheduling conflicts with competing exhibitions, satisfactory outcomes were achieved through the collective efforts of all members.
President Zhan Ming further elaborated on the Association's six key initiatives for the future:
(1) Dedicate efforts to successfully host Guangzhou and Houjie exhibitions, attracting global clientele.
(1) Organize international exhibition participation, develop overseas footwear machinery markets, and promote member companies' products.
(1) Establish a centralized procurement center through resource integration to reduce costs for member companies.
(1) Organize study tours to advanced enterprises to enhance the collective capabilities of member companies.
(1) Organize innovation competitions to stimulate R&D momentum.
(1) Cultivate the "Guangdong Footwear Machinery" gold-standard brand to elevate global prominence.
Subsequently, Yang Guang, President of Dongguan Shoe-making Machinery Association of Commerce and Executive President of Guangdong Shoe-making Machinery Association, delivered the 2023-2024 work report, detailing the Association's achievements in exhibition services, membership expansion, and industry exchanges. During the financial reporting session, Secretary-General Zhao Weiping of Guangdong Shoe-making Machinery Association provided a comprehensive breakdown of the financial status for both the Association and its subsidiary units, ensuring financial transparency and standardized operations.

The Assembly also elected Zhu Kongliang from Guangdong Xinjieyu Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. as Supervisory Board Chairman of Guangdong Shoe-making Machinery Association, Huan Wenbing from Dongguan Xuanyu Shoe Machinery Co., Ltd. as Supervisor, and appointed Yang Bin (Dongguan Hongxiang Machinery Co., Ltd.), Xiao Xiufeng (Dongguan FLY SPRING Machinery Co., Ltd.), and Zhang Lexian (Shenzhen Chaocheng Sewing Technology Co., Ltd.) as Executive Presidents, among other resolutions.
Mr. Wang Shoumin, Honorary President of Guangdong Shoe-making Machinery Association and Director of the Resource Integration Department, presented the centralized procurement platform to attendees. By leveraging the Association's supply chain procurement mini-program, the initiative introduces premium manufacturers, achieves resource integration to establish a centralized procurement hub, reduces enterprises' procurement/operational costs, enhances economic efficiency, and delivers streamlined services for member companies.
Ms. Zheng Min, Project Director of Hong Kong Paper communication Exhibition Services, concluded the proceedings by presenting the DFM Greater Bay Area International Smart Footwear Machinery & Materials Industrial Equipment Expo, scheduled for March 25-27 at Houjie International Exhibition Center. The exhibition's relaunch in Houjie features not only discounted booth rates but also five exclusive visitor privileges, which have significantly heightened participation enthusiasm among member enterprises.
Part II: Industry Forum – "2025 Footwear Industry Development Summit Dialogue"
At the "2025 Shoe Industry Development Summit Dialogue" segment of the industry forum, Long Xiaojie, CEO of the Meizhong Shoe Industry Network, served as the host of the dialogue with many industry experts such as Wang Jingwen from Jieyu Shoe Machinery, Yang Guang from JYL, Zhang Lexian from Chaocheng Sewing, Wang Guoquan from AMMA CNC, Yang Bin from Hongxiang Machinery, Liao Ruiping from JSM Technology, Xiao He from TYL Machinery, Li Changhong from Quanyi Machinery, Wei Wei from Shenhui, and Yang Geshun from Chengfeng Machinery. They conducted two rounds of in-depth discussions on topics such as shoe industry development trends, technological innovation, and market expansion. Emma CNC CEO Wang Guoquan shared the experience of the second-generation succession of the company, as well as GARY Wang Qiling, the general manager of the Asian region of Italy's STEMMA company, on the interpretation of "technology+vision=future" for shoe-making equipment, providing new ideas and directions for the development of the industry. The sharing of AI enterprise applications by Teacher Gao Bo from Douteng Education, as well as the tax sharing by Mr. Zhan Haiqing from Dongguan Dongxin Bonded Supply Chain Co., Ltd., also benefited the attendees greatly.
Part III: Spring Tea Banquet
The dinner officially began at 18:30. Leaders including Zhan Ming, President of Guangdong Shoe-making Machinery Association, Chen Jiongsheng, Director of Supervision Department of Guangdong Social Organization Management Bureau, and others delivered speeches expressing their best wishes for the future development of the shoe machinery industry. During the dinner, the association presented trophies and certificates to 35 "Promotion Ambassadors" in recognition of their outstanding contributions to industry advocacy. Following this, Wang Jianzhong, Director of the Exhibition Department of the Guangdong Shoe-making Machinery Association, provided updates on the preparations for the 2025 Guangzhou Exhibition and Vietnam Exhibition, urging member organizations to actively participate.
During the toast ceremony, President Zhan Ming led the entire audience in singing the song "Brothers, Cheers!" (兄弟干杯), culminating the evening's festivities. The subsequent raffle session brought continuous surprises, with generous prizes sponsored by numerous member companies igniting an electric atmosphere.
